Whether old trauma from life or anxiety is interfering with your everyday routine, you no longer wish to feel like a slave to old habits, or you're simply ready to invest in your health in an exciting new way, psychotherapy or counselling for you.
Learning to understand and work more with your internal experience instead of avoiding or resisting it will allow for greater freedom of action. Oftentimes, the ability to become free simply originates from working through what the exact source of your restraint is.
Good counselling and psychotherapy will provide a personal space where we can express ourselves openly, without any judgement or fear of rejection.
Most of us don't have a place where we can be completely honest, free of all judgement and bias. We're too scared to be ourselves around others, in case they don't like us for who we are. A counselling space will provide that.
By working through what is presented in a psychotherapy or counselling session, the client will gain more understanding about the issue or problem they are facing. Understanding why we react, think or feel the way we do is the biggest step to making change.
